“Best tamales I’ve ever eaten. No joke.”
Rebecca H., Google reviewWe do not chase a long menu. We make pork in red salsa and chicken in green salsa the way the women in our family made them, and we make them BIG.
From a Tuesday team lunch to a 200-guest quinceañera, the order is the same: tell us the date and the headcount, and we cook.

Boxed lunches, meeting trays and the monthly “Tamale Day” your team will fight for.

Richardson, Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Dallas and the northern suburbs, delivered by our own team.
See the delivery areaEverything starts in our Richardson kitchen the morning it goes out. The masa is mixed fresh, the pork and chicken are slow-cooked, the chiles are toasted, and every tamal is wrapped by hand. We are not a restaurant, so there is no dining room, no waiting list, and no one but us handling your food.
Small orders go through DoorDash and arrive the same day. Anything for a group goes through the quote form: Maggie reads it, replies with a menu and a price, and the delivery is planned with you.
Office lunch, party, wedding, holiday dozens. Pick one in the form and give us the date and the headcount.
A menu and a real price, usually the same business day. Adjust it as many times as you like.
Made fresh that morning, delivered hot and labeled, with salsas and utensils for buffet-style service on request.
Slide the guest count and see the dozens and the cost at our menu price. Then turn it into a quote with one click.
A planning number, not a quote. Mixed pork and chicken, delivery and any extras are confirmed by Maggie in writing.
Chicken breast and slow-cooked pork fill the husk. Reviewers call them “huge” and “packed with meat” because they are.
No shortcuts, no fillers. The finest meats and chiles in Texas, and now and then a specialty chile that came up from Mexico in grandpa’s suitcase.
Recipes passed down from the women in our family, cooked the way they cooked: with patience, in the spirit of Like Water for Chocolate.
Catering orders arrive hot, labeled by filling, with a person who knows the food and can set it up.

We did not pick the nice ones. There are no other ones.
Best tamales I’ve ever eaten!!! No joke. Chicken tamales - clean, not greasy at all, amazing (not too much) masa, and lots of chicken breast meat (no fat) and a really nice green tomatillo flavor. My family loves tamales- we will be eating these!!!!Rebecca Herrera
Absolutely delicious tamales! They’re always fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Delivery to our workplace is reliable and convenient, and everyone here looks forward to tamale day. Great variety, generous portions, and excellent customer service. Highly recommend!Elizabeth Rayas
Wooooweee these are delicious! These chicken and pork tamales are so tender, immensely flavorful, and huge! I can tell they are made with love. I’m pretty sure my eyes rolled back when I took the first bite. Service was perfect as well! Definitely recommended!KiMMY89
These are the best tamales i’ve had in a while!! The meat is like perfectly spicy and delicious, the tamales are very moist, they don’t fall apart and hold their shape really well! Also Armando is very nice, great service !!Jenna Cathryn

In Texas, tamales are the holiday. Reserve your dozens for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year before the calendar fills, and have them delivered hot to the house.

Maggie learned tamales the way most people do: standing at a counter next to her mother and grandmother, spreading masa on husks until her arms hurt. The difference is that she never stopped. Today her Richardson kitchen makes the same tamales for offices, weddings and holiday tables across North Dallas, and she still reads every order herself.

Two for lunch with sides, three when tamales are the whole meal. My headcount-to-dozens chart, plus the cases where the rule changes.

A recurring tamale lunch is the easiest office tradition to start and the hardest to cancel. Here is how I set one up with an office manager.
